We were lucky enough to spend some time with Kestrels (Toronto, ON) on their recent visit to St. John’s and capture a solid live session with the trio within the walls of Suvla Estates.
In case anybody missed it, or you’re just getting brought up to date through this post now, two great locals recently put together the best skateboarding video to come out of Newfoundland to-date.
For “Nitty Gritty”, which premiered this passed June, Jacob White and Jared Hawco stacked film from around the St. John’s area onto footage collected during their winter trip skateboarding in China this passed February.

After weeks of rallying and campaigning for support, it seems the people’s voices and hard work of the Khyber Arts Society (KAS) spirited a huge win for the Khyber Arts Society.
