With the final night of the 25th edition of Halifax Pop Explosion upon us, we wanted to share some personal selections from our video primer playlist.

The stacked bill that we’ve selected is a night of beats, bars and R&B that will take place tonight, October 21st, at the Marquee Ballroom. The lineup features a Toronto-based trifecta of DJ/producer Bambii, MC phenom Tasha The Amazon, and the neo-soul tinged flows of Clairmont the Second. They’re joined by the Halifax/Toronto duo of Quake Matthews and Kayo AKA The Search, along with the Halifax local likes of the silky smooth Reeny Smith, and 23 year old Classified-collaborater, Elijah.
