catl are a Toronto based rock n’ roll duo known for their stripped down hammering of juke-joint shakers. Channeling a gritty and guttural R&B spirit, catl combine a lone muddy guitar with the stomp of a minimalist backbeat that would make Bo Diddley proud.

catl stopped through St. John’s in May during the sixth installment of the Lawnya Vawnya Festival, and the crew at Distortion snapped some solid minutes of A&V as a momento of their visit.
