Propeller – a Vans Video Premier at the LSPU Hall in St. John’s
At 6pm on May 10th, 2015, the skateboarding and music worlds collide at the LSPU Hall for the St. John’s premiere of Vans Footwear and Apparel’s new skate video: Propeller.

The doors open at 5:30 and at 6pm, before the projector hits on the screen, Jonny and the Cowabungas take the stage in the bar-room for a set of surf-punk debauchery. Tickets are available at the LSPU box office, or online for $9.
Propeller showcases the star-studded pro team and past Vans legends to give you a honest look at modern skateboarding.
Los Angeles based filmographer Greg Hunt is no stranger to skate-film, a leader in the modern skate-video industry, he has the honour of directing skate the first feature-length film for the iconic Vans brand.
“Propeller is the first feature length skateboarding film from Vans Footwear and Apparel, directed by skateboard-filmer Greg Hunt, it features the whole pro team and also includes Vans legends like Ray Barbee, Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi and Tony Alva,” says Adam Lannon, one half of the promoting duo Cove Collective.
“This is my second video premier and I love making these things happen. Its such a positive experience and i just want to help skateboarding grow in St. John’s,” says Lannon, “If more rad things like this happen it just makes our scene a whole lot cooler.”
“Vans and Ballistic are a huge helping hand in this event. Like most skateboarding events you can expect some free product and some goodies to be handed out,” says Lannon. “Cove Collective which is a creative endeavour myself and Ethan Murphy have, we will be shooting video and photos for the event.”
