Watch: Werewoman Rock A Subtitled Shootout In Their Brand New Music Video

werewomanvidSt. John’s riff rock trio Werewoman prepare to hide from the moonlight for a few months of downtime, but not without leaving us with a taste of new material.

“It will be another LP on vinyl called Youth Slipped.” says Shaun McCabe (Drums), “We’re almost done recording with Matthew Wall now. Hoping to be out August or September.

This brand new music video offering from Werewoman is a collaboration with the immensely talented director Mike Simms. The song is Hypothetical Jokes and the accompanying video features the three members of Werewoman in a series of subtitled mafioso-tinged scenes that end in a “deal gone bad” shootout. The video also features members of The Darts, Plainface, and MC Snax.

“It was Mike’s idea for the concept.” says McCabe, “We just had an idea that the three of us would be involved in some greasy stuff that would end in a shootout, and he really wanted to film an action piece.”

“The bad accents and everyone dying was our idea.”

You can check out Werewoman in one last pre-hiatus show in St. John’s February 27th at Bar None with The Darts & The Blackened Lungs.
