Halifax band Trees Speak Breeze premiered a music video this weekend for the title-track from their newest release Paisley Days.

Paisley Days marks the first time that Trees Speak Breeze have recorded together as a full band, as the project began as a basement solo effort.

The visually captivating video for Paisley Days takes command of the viewer’s attention – directing the eye towards juxtaposing color schemes as the music builds towards a booming climax.

Recording Paisley Days involved having the “drums recorded at Codapop Studios,” according to member Daniel Bennett, “everything else was tracked in the loft in our house titled ‘the trap lounge.’ Mixing was done by Andrew Wiseman. The video was directed by David Morris with a crew of NSCC screen arts students.”
