Mark Antonio Pepe AKA Mark “BBQ” Sultan AKA Creepy, Bridge Mixture, Von Needles, and many other marvelous monikers, is ending his solo tour TONIGHT in Halifax, NS.

Sultan, who now resides in Germany, has spent much of the last 20+ years making ass-shaking rock n’ roll from his hometown of Montreal, QC, to delivering those vibrations throughout countries and continents far and wide. Whether its as a member of King Khan & BBQ Show, Spaceshits, Les Sexareenos, Mind Controls, The Ding-Dongs, Almighty Defenders and many others, or as a foot-drumming one-man-gang of a solo performer, Sultan is the real fucking deal. Tumbling through punk-infused R&B and garage boppers, Sultan can croon like a 1950’s doowop heartthrob just as well as he can snarl like Stiv Bators.

Releasing stacks and stacks of discs and wax on ten or more independent labels over the years, Sultan has most recently announced his next single on his own brand new label Chompazoid Records. The teaser track “Believe Me“ is a  psychedelic house-rocker under a gigantic analogue blanket. Sultan plays every instrument on the track as well as playing the roll of self-producer.
